How does a doctor qualify to be a DocsNearYou member? We accept doctors and dentists into our service only after they complete detailed applications and pass our screening process.
What is the DocsNearYou screening process? We do our best to provide the highest level of professional screening in the dental industry. Our Quality Assurance department is dedicated to the initial screening and continued monitoring of member dentists, which includes, but is not limited to:
  • Verifying that member Medical and/or Dental Licenses are current and in good standing Requiring certification for any claimed specialty or service
  • Maintaining detailed professional information, including school attended, services offered, office hours and more
  • Surveying patients on an ongoing basis to assure the highest level of satisfaction and care
Do doctors pay to be a part of the DocsNearYou Directory? Yes. Once a doctor passes our strict screening requirements, there is a fee for patients to book appointments using our service.
What does it mean for the doctor's license to be "in good standing"? It means that the doctor's license is valid and that he or she is not currently subject to disciplinary action.
How can I get more doctor information? We provide detailed information about our members on their enhanced profiles. Once you start the search process, you can select the doctor you're interested in and click on "View Profile" to learn about that doctor's available appointments, services, patient reviews, qualifications and office amenities.
Can you help me find a doctor who accepts my insurance? If you have insurance, we can help narrow down the doctor's in your area who accept a variety of insurance plans.
Do you have members that work with low-income patients? Our member doctors offer a variety of payment options designed to accommodate your level of income.
Do I have to make an appointment? We understand that you may be a little apprehensive about making an appointment, but your health is important, and the best person to talk to about your health is a doctor.
What makes your service different from other Directories like Yellow Pages? Not every doctor can become a member of DocsNearYou. Unlike the yellow pages, we screen and continually monitor our member doctors to ensure our promise to you. We also work to find you a doctor who matches your specific needs.
How do I submit feedback about my doctor? After your appointment is booked and completed, you'll have the ability to login and leave feedback for your doctor. Your reviews are essential to assisting future patients with selecting the right provider for their needs.
